Do some work everyday to submit your site in directory. it will help to increase your backlinks.
write some articles related to your product and submit it article directories. mostly directories allow upto 3 links in ‘author resource box’ .
add some fresh content in your blog daily.
Of course , Title , meta keyword, description , alt tags are very imported.
join some related forums and help others by your knowledge and leave a signature link
add comment on dofollow belogs ( increse again backlinks).

The best way to add keywords to your blog other than tags and categories is in the content. Use them in your titles. Use them in your filenames for uploaded images. Use them in your Alt text. Figure out what your post is really About. Put that thing in the title, even if you have to edit it. Edit your permalink too. Make sure the images you post relate to that thing with their names. The density of keyword is very important, and it shall be found inside your content. And meta tags is pointed to your article as well
